The short version
This website sets no cookies and embeds no advertising networks. There is no contact form. Fonts are served from our own server, not from Google. For audience measurement we use a cookieless method that does not allow any conclusions about individual people – see below.
Hosting and server logs
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare Germany GmbH, Rosental 7, 80331 Munich, Germany; parent company Cloudflare, Inc., USA). When you open the page, Cloudflare processes technically necessary data, in particular your IP address, the date and time of access, the page requested, your browser and your operating system.
The purpose is delivering the site and protecting it against attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure and available service (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). A data processing agreement is in place with Cloudflare. Transfer to the USA is possible; Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Further information on this processing can be found in Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Audience measurement with Cloudflare Web Analytics
We would like to know whether and how this site is found. For this we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a service from the same provider that hosts the site.
It sets no cookies and stores or reads no identifiers on your device. There is no cross-device recognition and no fingerprinting. Only anonymous details of the individual page view are recorded: the page requested, the referring page, the country, browser and device type, and loading-speed metrics. We cannot draw conclusions about individual people.
The purpose is statistical evaluation of usage, so that we can keep the site clear and findable. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a well-designed service (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). As no information is stored on or retrieved from your device, no consent under § 25 TTDSG is required.
YouTube videos
Videos can be played on the home page. They are not loaded automatically. Only when you explicitly click the play button is a connection to YouTube established (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). YouTube then learns your IP address and may process further data; if you are signed in to Google, the request can be linked to your account. Transfer to the USA is possible.
We use the “youtube-nocookie” variant, which sets no advertising cookies before playback. The legal basis is your consent, given by clicking the play button (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time by reloading the page. More information: Google's privacy policy.
Links to social networks
We link to our profiles on YouTube, Instagram and Facebook. These areplain links, not embedded content – no data is transferred unless you click them. After clicking, the respective provider's privacy policy applies.
Contacting us by email
If you write to us, we process your details solely in order to answer your message. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, and for enquiries about working together also Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. We delete messages once they are no longer needed and no statutory retention periods apply.
Your rights
You have the right at any time to
- access the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR),
- have inaccurate data corrected (Art. 16 GDPR),
- erasure (Art. 17 GDPR),
- restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
- data portability (Art. 20 GDPR),
- object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR).
